Description
Strohmeier TLZ Indigo Red Wine NV is made from Blauer Wildbacher vines. The grapes originate from the Lestein vineyard, situated on a steep slope with gneiss and loamy topsoil enriched with iron. Hand-harvested grapes undergo a four-week maceration period on the skins, with spontaneous primary fermentation. Following fermentation, the wine is softly pressed and aged for 24 months in used wooden barrels of 500 liters and smaller. This wine is unfined, unfiltered, and contains no added sulfur, aiming to preserve the natural characteristics of the grape.
