Wine maker TELMO RODRIGUEZ makes his ´Corriente´ (Which translates as ´common ‘or ´everyday´) with respect for historical viticulture and winemaking, and is anything but “common”! Produced with grapes from different altitudes and soils around Lanciego and fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats. It matured in barriques and foudres for close to a year.
Medium-bodied Rioja with notes of dark berries, plum, and sweet spice, featuring earthy hints of tobacco, herbs, and vanilla from French/American oak aging, offering velvety tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, complex finish that’s approachable yet structured. 14.5% ABV
