Description

Meigamma Rosato 2024 is a natural rosé crafted by Barbara and Giuseppe Pusceddu at their tiny estate in Villasimius, southern Sardinia. The wine is made from 100% Cannonau grown on sandy soils just 600 meters from the Mediterranean Sea. After hand harvest, the grapes undergo an 18-hour skin maceration before spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Meigamma Rosato 2024 then ages for 12 months in used barriques on fine lees. No fining, no filtration, and no added sulfites until bottling define this coastal Sardinian rosé. Annual production remains limited to approximately 1,250 bottles.
