The Avistelle is one of the best white wines we’ve ever had in the club. Not only was it awarded 91 points and a gold medal at the 2017 Critic’s Challenge, it is one of our all-time member favorites. Made by California winemaker Joe Otos, this wine harnesses the terroir of Lodi. As usual, his meticulous attention to detail resulted in a delightful Pinot Gris with intriguing minerality, great body, and crisp acidity. The Avistelle 2016 PInot Gris has aromas of spring flowers and tropical citrus blossoms. With leading notes of green melon, guava, and ripe peach, this is a great wine to start an evening.

TASTING NOTES:
Avistelle entices with notes of spring flowers and tropical citrus blossoms intermingled with flavors of green melon, guava and ripe peach. This zippy Pinot Gris has brilliant acidity and a clean refreshing finish.
