Diversi dal Solito has once again crafted a wine that personifies the beauty of Old World wine country with a contemporary fruit-forward twist. This rich blend bursts with red and dark fruit flavor with an underlying rustic element that returns to its Italian roots. Situated on the picturesque island of Sicily — known as “the land of the sun” — these vineyards benefit from a Mediterranean climate with long, hot summers and mild winters. These thick-skinned red grapes grow at 600 to 800 feet above sea level from 20-year-old vines rooted in clay soils. These factors result in concentrated fruit with an ideal balance of fruit flavor, acidity, and tannin. This food-friendly wine is a masterful interpretation of Old World structure without the austerity.
