Description
Field Recordings Freddo Sangiovese 2024 is made from 100% Sangiovese sourced from two Paso Robles vineyards: Trousdale, which is organically farmed, and Creston Ridge, located in the Creston District at the base of the La Panza Range. The name “Freddo”—Italian for “cold”—signals the wine’s intended serving style. Winemaker Andrew Jones uses partial carbonic fermentation in sealed stainless steel tanks for seven days before pressing, then finishes fermentation with native yeasts and ages the wine four months in stainless steel. Field Recordings Freddo Sangiovese 2024 clocks in at 13% ABV with minimal sulfur additions and zero added sugar.
