Description
Joseph Cattin Alsace Riesling is made from 100% Riesling grapes sourced from vineyards in Voegtlinshoffen, in the foothills of the Vosges Mountains at 1,091 feet elevation. The Cattin family, with winemaking heritage dating to 1720, farms 65 hectares across clay, limestone, sandstone, and marl soils. The grapes are handpicked and gently pressed, then fermented at controlled temperatures. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and minerality. At 12% alcohol, this dry Riesling reflects traditional Alsace winemaking methods.
