Description

This Pinot Grigio from KRIS is a blend of fruit from the delle Venezie DOC in Italy. Its flavor profile is full of fresh and floral aromas, with underlying almond notes representative of its region. A portion of this blend comes from vines grown on hillsides in the northern region of Alto Adige. These slopes have a southwest-facing aspect which means the grapes have lots of exposure to sunlight, resulting in the development of their ripe fruity flavor. The other portion is harvested from vines in the neighboring region of Friuli. Here, the fruit benefits from well-drained soils, which results in smaller yields and greater overall complexity.
