Description
Sylvain Bock Raffut is a red wine crafted from 100% Syrah grapes sourced from the Valvignères vineyard in the Ardèche region of France. The vineyard’s limestone, basalt soils, and Mediterranean climate contribute to the wine’s distinctive character. Bock practices organic viticulture, emphasizing minimal intervention to preserve the natural expression of the terroir. In the cellar, the grapes undergo carbonic maceration in fiberglass tanks for approximately 15 days, then aging in old barriques for about a year. This method enhances the wine’s structure and complexity while maintaining its vibrant fruit profile. Bottling is done without fining or filtration, and no sulfites are added, adhering to natural winemaking principles.
