Description
Alicia Serres’ Santa Helena 2023, produced in Terra Alta, Catalonia, hails from a vineyard dedicated to organic practices and minimal intervention winemaking. Composed primarily of 70% Carignan, with additions of Garnacha Blanca and Garnacha Tinta, this blend originates from a high-altitude terroir with poor, stony soils that stress the vines, concentrating flavors. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented naturally, maintaining vibrant expression and purity. Winemaking is done without added sulfur, allowing for a seamless representation of the vineyard’s identity. Fermentation and maturation occur in stainless steel, which preserves the wine’s fresh, lively character.
