Gut Oggau Cecilia Rosé 2022 represents the newest addition to this Austrian estate’s fictional family. Crafted by Eduard and Stephanie Tscheppe in Burgenland, this unconventional rosé comes from a 1.4-hectare plot planted with Gemischter Satz—a traditional Austrian field blend combining red and white grape varieties growing together on limestone soils. Two-thirds of the hand-harvested grapes are pressed directly while one-third undergoes brief maceration. Gut Oggau Cecilia Rosé 2022 ferments spontaneously in large wooden vats, then matures in 1500-liter barrels. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, with no sulfur added. 12% ABV.
