Description
Le Coste PNT Pinot Noir 2019 comes from Piancabella, a natural amphitheater vineyard at nearly 500 meters elevation with southeast exposure near Lago di Bolsena. The vines are a massale selection of an ancient Alsace clone, planted in dark volcanic soil scattered with small stones called “pianca” locally. Gianmarco Antonuzzi and Clémentine Bouveron ferment whole bunches in wooden vats for approximately three weeks, then press and transfer to old oak casks for one year. Le Coste PNT Pinot Noir 2019 is bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfites.
